I guess I wanted to see what it would be like for Beavis and Butthead to finally get off of the couch and "Do America" as the title proclaims. But neither Beavis nor Butthead did anything spectacular that made me feel like I made a good decision seeing their new movie. Honestly, I could have seen the same sort of crude conversations late at night on their TV show.

About the only thing that this movie offers that the TV show could not is more crudeness and vulgarity. Not that I did not like it at all; I laughed many times. However, I am still displeased in my recent movie ticket investment.

Surprisingly, the movie begins rather well. Having seen the TV show before, I was rather shocked to find that the movie included a.......plot. As the story begins to unfold (Beavis and Butthead are talked into traveling the country in return for the always dissolving chance to score) I was quite enjoying the show.

Sadly, however, what was set up wonderfully to be a great time quickly deteriorated into a cess pool of cavity searches and other such things that are not even mentioned on TV because it would simply not be allowed. Now I can see why Mike Judge went to the freedom of the cinemas.

But what was truly the saddest part of this moviegoing experience was the fact that the theater was full of impressionable young ten-year-old boys who hold these two icons as their personal idols. I was constantly hearing "Heh, heh. Yeah, yeah." all around me. For them I guess, the movie was worth it: they got more bad behavior to imitate and more crude words to shock their parents with.
