This movie was a big dissapointment. I loved the first three Vacation movies. In particular, I consider Christmas Vacation to be a classic in the sense that many people regard It's A Wonderful Life to be the movie to see each holiday season. It always seemed to me that certain scenes in each of the first three movies were taken directly from my family. When I heard that a fourth Vacation movie was coming out, and that it was about a trip to Las Vegas, I felt that this movie would certainly provide a few more scenes from my life since my family has taken a couple of trips to Las Vegas.

But this movie just plain sucked. Nothing in the movie related to me, my family, or any of our experiences. In fact, nothing in the movie could possibly relate to anyone's life, family, or experiences because it is just way too cornball. And it is not at all funny.

I usually enjoy seeing Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid. But here they turned in the worst performances of their lives. And Wayne Newton embarassed himself beyond repair. I cannot imagine anyone being a fan of his after this movie (not that I could before this movie either). The only person who remotely did any good was Beverly D'Angelo who plays the mom, Mrs. Griswald.

This movie was a complete waste of money and time. I cannot believe that I even spent the twenty minutes or so that I took to write this review. DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE........EVER!
