The Legend of Drunken Master - completely dubbed, a great example of Hong Kong humor

Best Actor
Denzel Washington as Rubin "The Hurricane" Carter -
The Hurricane - he brought Rubin Carter to life on the big screen and showed us every emotion known to man

Denzel Washington as Rubin 'The Hurricane' Carter

Honorable Mention:
Robert De Niro as Jack Byrnes (the dad) - Meet the Parents - never has there been a more perfect match for character and actor. This movie would have been nothing without him.
Russel Crowe as Maximus Decimus Meridius (a.k.a. The Spaniard, a.k.a. Gladiator) - Gladiator - "My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius. Commander of the armies of the north. Loyal servant to the true emporer, Marcus Aerelius. Father to a murdered son! Husband to a murdered wife! And I will have my vengeance...in this life or the next."

Michelle Pfeiffer as Claire Spencer

Honorable Mention:
Téa Leoni as Kate Reynolds - The Family Man - she makes you fall in love with her

Owen Wilson - as Kevin Rawley - Meet the Parents - the perfect ex-boyfriend

Worst Supporting Actor:
Tony Goldwyn as Drucker - The 6th Day - I could have picked anyone from The Perfect Storm, but I also wanted to point out what a horrible job Goldwyn did as a bad guy in The 6th Day. It was quite unlike his praiseworthy performance in the now classic film, Ghost.

Tony Goldwyn as Drucker in The 6th Day

The Legend of Drunken Master - she was really funny

Director:
Robert Zemeckis -
What Lies Beneath - he created the quintessential haunting mood Honorable Mention:

Frequency - this script created its own rules and tested their limits. It also created some very endearing characters.
Meet the Parents - how did they come up with all of those great jokes and situations?

Honorable Mention:
Unbreakable - another great surprise ending from M. Night Shyamalan

Worst Screenplay:
The Perfect Storm - corny lines galore

Dishonorable Mention:
U-571 - the most predictable movie I've seen in a long time. This movie's only saving grace was its great special effects.

Musical Score:
Dinosaur - James Newton Howard's music is heroic, foreboding, and inspiring

Honorable Mention:
Gladiator - Hans Zimmer does it again

Best Special Effects:
Dinosaur - these dinosaurs are even more realistic and amazing to watch as those of Jurassic Park
