Austin Powers (Mike Myers): "This movie's groovy, baby. Yeah! And I look really good in it too. Yeah, baby! Yeah!"

Dr. Evil: "Please don't mind him. He's a little cuckoo in the woowoo after I gave him a boo-boo. But he is right about one thing. You will like this movie. Hoo hoo ha ha ha haaaaa."

Mini Me: (nods)

Dr. Evil: "Hoo hoo ha ha ha haaaaa."

Austin Powers: "Oh behave!"

Fat Bastard: "And don't forget about me, you pieces of crap!"

Dr. Evil: "Somehow I think they'll be able to find you."

Dr. Evil (whispers to Mini Me): "After all, how could they miss his fat a.."

Mini Me: (nods)

Goldmember: "I am a new character too. I am Dutch and I have a really annoying accent, flaky skin, and a golden MEMBER which is the result of an unfortunate smelting accident."

Dr. Evil: "Whose in charge here? Huh. Everyone will see this movie because of me. They could care less about the rest of you."

Austin Powers: "Speak for yourself, baldy. They want someone who's sexy. And I am one sexy..."

Fat Bastard: "You want to know who's sexy? I am DEAD SEXY!" (shakes his fat)

Nigel Powers (Michael Caine): "That may be. But as Austin Powers' father, you will all see that I am the smoothest of all with the ladies. Women love me, and I love all women, except for of course, the Dutch."

Goldmember: "I heard that and will pay you back accordingly!"

Scott Evil (Seth Green): "Aw come on! No one is ever going to see this movie because you are all so lame."

Narrator (that's me!): "And that is pretty much how it goes, as if you all haven't caught on by now. One goofy character trying to upstage the other (and most of them are played by Mike Myers who is apparently trying to upstage himself)."

Austin Powers In His Pimpmobile from the 70's

A lot of the jokes are recycled from the first two movies, as are most of the characters. But man, is it funny. There were times when I was hurting so bad from laughing that I thought I might have to leave the theater just to take a break. I was so sore! I haven't laughed that hard in a movie since I saw Meet the Parents.

And even before one of Myers' characters even makes it to the screen, you will be laughing so hard when you see Tom Cruise as Austin Powers, Kevin Spacey as Dr. Evil, and Danny Devito as Mini Me. Oh man. Really funny.

This movie is packed with sexual innuendo, disgusting humor, and childish pranks. To some it may be offensive or just plain odd. But obviously to the crowd that I watched it with it was just plain perfect, because I heard people laughing continuously for 2 hours. One of the funniest scenes is a twist on the tent scene from Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Except this time it is in a doctor's office behind a changing curtain with Austin Powers and Mini Me.

There is another scene where Dr. Evil and Mini Me are in prison and they perform a rap video (see below). There is no way that you can watch this and not laugh. No way.

There is also a flashback scene in which Aaron Himelstein and Josh Zuckerman are VERY convincing as Young Austin Powers and Young Dr. Evil.

There are also completely unexpected things that happen that just require a laugh. For instance, there is a scene in which Austin Powers, without warning, just comes up and kicks Mini Me clear across the room. Just ludicrous stuff like that. There is also a funny scene in which subtitles are interpreted as dirty phrases, until someone moves out of the way of the rest of the letters.

Fred Savage makes a cameo in this movie as Number Three (a.k.a., The Mole). He has a large growth on his face that no one can take their eyes off of. It gets to be pretty embarassing for him as people make slips of the tongue saying things such as, "It was nice to mole you...I, I mean MEET you." This is brought up several times throughout the movie. It was pretty funny.

Funny scenes from this movie just keep coming to mind. The plot however, was probably the weakest of the three movies. And what is worse, by the end of the film, all of the characters seem to be on the same side (except for Scott Evil). Either this is the last of the series, or the next one is going to be pretty tough for them. Another thing that I would like to gripe about was the fact that Austin Powers seemed to have lost his Mojo. The Japanese twins aside, he really didn't seem very motivated or flirtatious at all. There was absolutely no chemistry between him and the lead hot chick, Foxxy Cleopatra, which is quite uncharacteristic of an Austin Powers movie.

In the end though, I must tip my hat to Mike Myers whose creativity and mastery of crazy characters makes for a delicious treat of a film.

thumbs up!Austin Powers and Dr. Evil are at it again. Don't miss it!
